(4) Applicant

To be an employee at your company, an applicant can apply for a job by filling out the application form. Depending on the required qualifications and skills, the company selects those suitable. The process for choosing the right employee may vary according to company practice. Most processes, however, are similar and correspond to the scenarios presented here. The selected applicants become employees on probation who may have to work for a period before becoming a full employee. After the probation period, all or some of them may be promoted to full employee status. The process required for promoting an applicant to probation status, and again to employee status is described in detail in the Task section. Promotion, demotion, resignation, termination, and increment (salary adjustment) are also included in this module.
