(11) Permission

If the login user has the administrator role, he/she will have right to control the user types.

Precondition

1. Choose the Permission module from the sub menu on the right side.

The existing levels/user roles are seen in the drop-down box named Level and a new one can be added by clicking " +" sign.

For the new user role, the administrator must specify the permission of each entity and the location type. For each entity, there are two types of permissions: access (All, Edit, Add, View, Delete) and control (Hierarchy and Self). The access permission (none, one, or all) can be joined with each of control permission. The possible combination of permission can see as follows.

		Explanation
All	-	The user can edit, add, view and delete the entities.
Edit	-	The user can view and edit the existing entities.
Add	-	The user can add a new entity.
View	-	The user can only view the existing entity.
Delete	-	The user can view and delete the existing entities.
All	Hierarchy	The user can edit, add, view and delete the entity of the hierarchy.
All	Self	The user can edit, add, view and delete the entity of him/her.
Edit	Hierarchy	The user can view and edit the existing entity of the hierarchy.
Edit	Self	The user can view and edit the existing entity of him/her.
Add	Hierarchy	The user can add a new entity of the hierarchy.
Add	Self	The user can add a new entity of him/her.
View	Hierarchy	The user can only view the entity of the hierarchy.
View	Self	The user can only view the entity of him/her.
Delete	Hierarchy	The user can delete the entity of the hierarchy.
Delete	Self	The user can delete the entity of him/her.
Edit & Add & View	Hierarchy	The user can edit, add and view the entity of the hierarchy.
Edit & Add & View	Self	The user can edit, add and view the entity of him/her.
Edit & Add	Hierarchy	The user can edit, add and also view the entity of the hierarchy.
Edit & Add	Self	The user can edit, add and also view the entity of him/her.
Edit & View	Hierarchy	The user can edit and view the existing entity of the hierarchy. No new one can be created.
Edit & View	Self	The user can edit and view the existing entity of him/her.
Add & View	Hierarchy	The user can only view the existing entity and add a new one of the hierarchy. Edit cannot be allowed in this case.

Hierarchy means location-aware department hierarchy.
