(18) Shift

To create or edit shift you need administrative rights or you must have the relevant departmental role.

A shift is a period during which defines employees' working hour and other necessary policies.

Late Arrival Policies

A Late Arrival Policy is a policy that your organization agreed officially and specifying the actions to take when an employee arrives late to the office.

Sample Late Arrival Policy Definition

For example, “Company A” working time is from 9 am to 5 pm. Employees are allowed to arrive as late as 15 minutes. Otherwise, they are fined 1000 kyats and their arrival type becomes “Late". Assume that "Employee C" arrived at 08:14, that employee is on time and arrival type will be "ON TIME". If "Employee D" arrived at 09:05, he will still have arrival type of "ON TIME" without any fines. But "Employee E" arrived at 09:20, he will be fined 1000 kyats and his arrival type will be "Late".

Early Departure Policies

A Late Arrival Policy is a policy that your organization agreed officially and specifying the actions to take when an employee departs early from the office.

Early Departure Policy Definition

For example, “Company A” working time is from 9 am to 5 pm. Employees are allowed to leave work as early as 15 minutes. Otherwise, they are fined 1000 kyats and their departure type becomes “Early Departure". Assume that "Employee C" leaves at 04:52, that employee is on time and departure type will be "ON TIME". If "Employee D" arrived at 04:45, he will still have departure type of "ON TIME" without any fines. But "Employee E" depart at 04:30, he will be fined 1000 kyats and his departure type will be "Early Departure".

Arrival Types

Arrival is classified into 10 types, namely

  2. late allowed

  3. late

  4. absent

  5. unresolved

  6. unresolved no shift

  7. half-day absent morning

  8. no fingerprint

  9. no intime

  10. unresolved no in time
