(20) Shift Group

To create or edit shift groups you need administrative rights or you must have the relevant departmental role.

This section concerns with the employees who do not have an exact shift. In this case, these employees must be added in a shifting group with various shifts. When the attendance in-time is near with one shift, the system will assign that shift on them. This is called auto-shift or shift group.

For example:

Employee A has 3 shifts which are grouped as a shifting group.

Shift 1 intime -> 06:00

Shift 2 intime -> 07:00

Shift 3 intime -> 08:00

If Employee A arrived at 06:45, he will be assigned to Shift 2.

If Employee A arrived at 07:15, he will be assigned to Shift 2.

If Employee A arrived at 07:50, he will be assigned to Shift 3.

Shift group have higher priority than a normal shift.
